Welcome to Jiu Jitsu & Dreams, a cornerstone of the Antioch martial arts scene. We are passionately dedicated to creating

a supportive and motivating environment where individuals from our local community and beyond can truly master the art of Brazilian Jiu-

Jitsu.

Our core mission is to champion physical fitness, cultivate mental resilience, and instill profound self-discipline in every one of

our students. We believe in the transformative power of Jiu-Jitsu and are proud to offer a space in Antioch, California, where you can grow, learn, and achieve your personal best.

As a practitioner of 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu, Professor Chris Vickers has mastered the unique techniques and strategies that set this system apart, including its emphasis on no-gi grappling and the use of unorthodox positions like the rubber guard and the lockdown. His expertise and dedication has not only earned him a no-gi black belt from Professor Alex Canders of 10th Planet Walnut Creek and a gi black belt from Professor Rich Goodwin of New Creation Wrestling & Jiu Jitsu, but also a reputation as a formidable competitor and a skilled instructor. In addition to his accomplishments on the mat, Chris is known for his commitment to teaching and mentoring others, helping students of all ages and skill levels to achieve their personal best.

Beyond his technical expertise, Professor Chris embodies the values of martial arts through his discipline, humility, and respect for others. His contributions to the 10th Planet community in Northern California and the broader martial arts world are a testament to his passion for the sport and his desire to make a positive impact. Whether competing in tournaments or conducting classes and seminars, Chris Vickers continues to inspire and lead by example, demonstrating the true spirit of a martial artist.

As a native of Pittsburg and Antioch, Chris is dedicated to bringing a growing jiu jitsu community together and taking pride in his hometown.
